The Hot Shakers

feat. Baby Palace

...let the good times roll!!!

Furious stage performances, spinning hips, hula hoop and petticoat; the 50's are back!

"Hot Shakers", the formation that has existed since 2003, really heats up with the springy and swinging rhythm of rock'n'roll. The successors of the Straubing rock'n'roll cult band "Johnny & The Cruisers" continue their style par excellence.

Rhythm and Blues, Boogie Woogie and of course Rock'n'Roll, the three styles of the 50s, are presented by the band from the effeff. The charm of this band clearly lies in the authentic sound. Stylish outfit and an exciting stage show ensure an event in a class of its own.

Occupation:

Next to Wulf Behrend on guitar is Michael Schöfer, who masters the piano.

An old acquaintance is Thomas Schöfer, saxophone, who played with "Johnny & The Cruisers" until 1998.

Newcomers are Chris Kaempfert, drums, and Chris Berger on double bass.

On board since 2016:

Singer Baby Palace - winner of four German rock awards - delivers the rockabilly part, alongside her swing and boogie songs.

Credentials:

Previous highlights of the band were in February 2008 two joint performances with Bill Haley's Original Comets in Vienna's Metropol, participation in the Baden-Baden Boogie Nights 2009, and in 2009 an open air in Wiener Neudorf as the opening act for the Spider Murphy Gang and Schlachthof Munich and Wintertollwood Munich.
